Deborah Margolin is a writer, actor and collaborator with the Split Britches Company, of which she is a founding member.

At Hampshire College for the fall 1989 semester, she scripted Honey, I'm Home: The Alcestis Story. She is especially proud that she was invited back to Hampshire this spring to deliver the commencement address.

Ms. Margolin is also a solo performance artist whose work was featured in April 1990 at the opening benefit for Boston's Women in Theater Festival.

Ms. Margolin has recently taped some comic monologues for HBO, and her solo show “Of All the Nerve” was presented at New York's Franklin Furnace and Performance Space 122, in April and December of 1989.

 Articles by Ms. Margolin have appeared in Harper's and Taxi magazines. She is a 1990-91 winner of a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Performance Art,. and is teaching a writing workshop at Women's Interart Center, Inc., sponsored by the New York Council on the Art.

Ms. Margolin hopes for the best despite all indications to the contrary.
